Christmas and Seasonal Lights were expanded by the Sadacca Family owned a Novelty Lighting company. When the youngest, Albert 17 said made a request to make strings of light bulbs for Christmas. They made the strings safer on the tree by fewer fires. By 1920 they made a company called NOMA Electric Co. This was the first trade organization that went into the Electric Christmas Light business. They began with the Bubble Light that had Liquid in the bulb that boiled when the lights were on. They lasted to be produced until 1970. Some still work today. They also made the outdoor Christmas lights with the normal flame style in colors of two orange, two yellow, one turquoise, one blue and one white. While writing this information and researching the strings I have found that I have thrown away old strings of these first made Christmas lights!
